How to Reach the Caminito del Rey North Access
The North Access to the Caminito del Rey is located near Ardales, about 60 km northwest of Málaga. If you’re driving, follow the A-357 motorway towards MA-5403, passing through Cártama, Pizarra, and Carratraca. The drive takes roughly 50 minutes and leads directly to the Visitors’ Reception Centre, where the main parking area is located.
Those arriving by train can take the Cercanías C-2 line from Málaga María Zambrano Station to El Chorro–Caminito del Rey Station (Álora). From there, a shuttle bus operates every 30 minutes between 7:40 AM and 7:00 PM, taking around 20 minutes to reach the North Entrance.
